Moyo – Discover Africa at Eden on the Bay!

For the not so hungry – Diners can munch on a flavourful Moyo “Boerie Roll” with a twist. Boerewors Rolls have been a staple South African braai treat for ages and is likely to remain a favourite. Feeling brave? Try the Moyo starter of “Crocodile Tail Pies”, which is said to be super tasty. We also love the sound of the Free State Sweet Potato Soup, or the creamy West Coast Mussels.

For the ravenous – Guests can enjoy a selection of amazing burgers that include the freshly prepared spicy “Dukkah Burger” served on a delicious pumpkin bread roll with hand cut chips. Try something unique and indulge in feasts served in a cast iron pots, such as a “Klein Karoo Venison Potjie”, or a classic “Durban Lamb Curry”. Moyo’s signature dishes include “Flamed Peri Peri Chicken”, “Nigerian Meat Kebabs” and a delicious “Moyo Flamed Fillet”.

Finish off with something sweet – A lovely selection of traditional and mouth-watering desserts are the perfect ending to any occasion celebrated at Moyo. Savour a “Moyo Duet”, which consists of cinnamon chocolate mousse, bread and butter pudding and yummy almond custard. Other dessert delicacies include a traditional Cape Malva Pudding, or a scrumptious Rooibos tea crème brulee. Mmm…

      

Along with being a shopping haven for those visiting Blouberg, Eden on the Bay is considered an ideal vantage point from which to enjoy exquisite views of the sun setting over the Atlantic Ocean – a sight which is truly something to behold. Moyo offers a delightful wine menu of red and white blends which can be enjoyed by the carafe or bottle, as well as an impressive list of Champagne’s to get any party started. Enchanting many guests with a superb cocktails menu, Moyo regularly boasts “sundowner” cocktail specials and offers some amazing cocktails which include their “African Tiki” range, all of which are served in tiki mugs.

As a family friendly restaurant, Moyo offers a kiddies menu of tasty mini-meals, while the Eden on the Bay promenade and the greater area of Blouberg also provides numerous family-friendly attractions to enjoy. Take a short walk to the end of the promenade and snap your holiday photos in the giant yellow “Table Mountain Frame”.

On warm summer days, visitors can also enjoy the restaurants lovely outdoor plunge pool, which overlooks the lively Eden on the Bay promenade as well as the ocean and Table Mountain beyond it.
